R & J Patent Drafting

R & J Patent Drafting operates a PC based drafting system running AutoCAD software. We can import .dxf files (document exchange format) and open AutoCAD .dwg files (Up to version 2000i). Most traditional CAD programs (such as: Pro E, CADAM, Solid Works and Intergraph) are able to "save as" or "export" .dxf files. If the drawings were generated in AutoCAD, we prefer to use the .dwg files. Macintosh .dxf files are also able to be imported.

If .dwg of .dxf files are not attainable because the graphics were generated in a drawing program (such as: CorelDraw!, Macromedia Freehand, etc..), we may be able to modify high quality laser prints of the drawings. If high quality prints are provided for modification they must comply with our "Computer File Guidelines" .

Note: High quality prints of drawings to be modified should be delivered to us for reference when computer graphic files are provided.
